What do I need to do if I'm moving out?

You can always take your One Utility Bill account with you, or cancel early if you need to. Here are the processes:

If your tenancy is ending and everybody is moving out, you can:

  1. Renew your One Utility Bill package at your new property, if you're moving to another rental

  2. If you wish to cancel head on over to our FAQ here where you’ll find detailed information

If you're moving earlier than expected:

Contact our support team at support@OneUtilityBill.co or call on 0191 6220 102.

It's always stressful to have to move unexpectedly, and they'll help close down the accounts at your current property, and transfer your package to a new one if you like, or take you through the cancellation process if that's what you need. FYI: There could be some cancellation charges from some suppliers, depending on the services in your package.

Is there a cancellation fee?

It depends on the type of package you have! For a fixed package, here's what you need to pay if you cancel.

If you have a rolling contract, there's no cancellation charge from One Utility Bill, as long as you give 30 days notice or more. If you give less than 30 days, you will be charged a fee as per our T&Cs. There could also be charges from some suppliers for cancelling early.
