Why do I have to submit meter readings when I have unlimited energy?

As an Unlimited Energy customer you don't get charged based on your actual usage, but we still need to pay the supplier for it. Accurate meter readings make sure the right amount is paid for your tenancy dates.

Meter readings tell suppliers how many kWhs of energy you've used, and that's how they bill us for your usage. Without this info we can't pay them.

You'll get a reminder when we need meter readings from you. You can submit them directly to your dashboard.

If there are no meter readings on your account within four months of your contract starting, a contractor will come to your property to take them, at a cost of £38. This is covered in your T&Cs.
