What information do I need to submit for a move-in?

Follow these steps to submit a move-in through your Notify portal.

To add a move-in, go to the Properties tab in your Notify portal and either:

  • To add a move-in to a property you've already added a move out for, click "Submit move-in" This will be found alongside each property profile as you scroll down your properties tab.

  • To add a move in for a property you don't have void period information for e.g a new property in your books, click "New move in" at the top of the properties page.

Here’s what information you need to submit move-in: 

  • Property address
  • Lead tenant details 
  • Tenancy start date
  • Number of tenants
  • Meter readings (optional; you can add these later)
    • See how to upload these here
  • Which services you would like to Notify 
    • Energy is required as minimum, water and council are optional.
    • If your property is in Scotland, please untick water 
  • Answers to council-specific questions (If you don't know the answer, come back at a later date to fill this in) 

If you need to add meter readings later, just find the property in the properties tab and upload them when you’re ready.
