How long do I have to submit a move-in or move-out?

You can submit a move-in and move-out as far in the future as you need. 

Future move-ins and move-outs

  • Move-ins: You can submit a move-in as far in the future as you need, provided you give us more than 4 days’ notice before the tenancy start date. To avoid missing the deadline, we recommend adding tenancy details as soon as the tenant has passed referencing.

  • Move-outs: You can submit a move-out as far in the future as you need. If the planned move-in or move-out doesn’t go ahead, simply let us know so we can update or cancel the notification.

Past-dated move-ins and move-outs

We can only process notifications within our standard processing timeframes:

  • Move-ins: Cannot be submitted if the move-in date was more than 4 days ago.
  • Move-outs: Cannot be submitted if the move-out date was more than 60 days ago.

If you try to select a date outside of these timeframes, the relevant dates on the calendar will be greyed out and unavailable.

If a move-in or move-out falls outside these timeframes, you’ll need to notify the relevant utility suppliers and local council directly.
