The full meter exchange process takes from 3 months up to 6 months
- The change of supply of electricity and gas to Spark can take up to 4 weeks*
- Once the change of supply has occurred an appointment will be booked for an engineer to visit your property and manually change the prepayment meter(s) in your property. This date is dependent on the availability of engineers in your area
- The engineer will need internal access to your property so it is important someone, over the age of 18 years old, is available in your property this day. Please note that the engineers do not give specific times, so please be prepared to be available for a 12 hour window. If no-one is available at the agreed time you may be charged £80 against your account for a missed appointment fee.
*Gas change of supply can take longer and any objections such as debt on the account will delay the process further.
