Which water bill support is available with One Utility Bill?

You can access any support offered by your regional water supplier. Processes differ for each supplier, but the team will work with you to make sure you don’t overpay.

Each regional water supplier has its own support to help people pay their bill, and if you qualify for support from your supplier, here’s how to get in touch. 

Social tariffs:

These reduced tariffs are available from every regional water supplier to help low-income households.

Each supplier has their own eligibility criteria, often based on income below a certain threshold, or receiving specific means-tested benefits like Housing Benefit, Pension Credit or Universal Credit.

Watersure scheme

This national scheme is designed to support people receiving certain benefits who need to use a lot of water for the following reasons:

  • Medical reasons:
    1. Certain medical purposes, such as eczema, psoriasis, incontinence or home dialysis.
  • Have three or more children under the age of 19 living at the address.
